How It Was Built

Day 1: Pricing Engine + Configurator UI. Started with the Excel pricing matrix. Translated every formula and bracket into a clean pricing engine. Built the frontend configurator: select material, enter square footage, choose subfloor prep level, pick installation tier. Price updates live as you change options. Added edge cases the Excel sheet handled (minimum order sizes, rush fees, multi-room discounts).

Day 2: PDF Export + Tracking + Deploy. Built a branded PDF generator that creates a professional quote document matching their existing format. Added a simple tracking dashboard — every quote generated is logged with the configuration, so the sales team can see which material/size combos get the most interest. Deployed and embedded on their existing website.
